Kurdish Newroz FC qualifies for the Iraqi Premier League

For the first time, the Kurdish Newroz FC has qualified for the Iraqi Premier League for the next season on Saturday after topping its group in the Iraq Division One league.

 

Newroz team managed to defeat the Iraqi Al-Jinsiya team by 1-0 in the 13th and last round of Iraq Division One league qualifying for the Premier League.

 

Ibrahim Ghazi scored the goal of Newroz during the match held at the Ahmed Radi stadium in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, during the second half of the match.

 

The MP of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc, Arazw Mahmoud, congratulated the Newroz FC on its qualification to the Premier League, wishing the club continued excellence and development.
