PUK Bloc Secures Approval for New Khanaqin Hospital and Treatment for 300 Patients

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) parliamentary bloc in the Iraqi parliament continues to work in support of citizens across the Kurdistan Region, focusing on meeting essential public needs.

In this context, the PUK bloc has secured approval for the construction of a 100-bed hospital in the Khanaqin district, alongside arrangements to provide treatment for 300 patients in need of specialist care.

MP Srwa Mohammed told PUKMEDIA that approval had been obtained from the Federal Minister of Health for the establishment of the new 100-bed hospital in Khanaqin.

She also confirmed that authorisation had been granted to provide necessary treatment for 300 haemophilia patients at Hiwa Hospital.
