PUK VP: Newroz Has Long Symbolised Victory, Resistance, and Struggle Against Injustice

Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has extended his congratulations to the Kurdish people on the occasion of Newroz and the Kurdish New Year.

“I extend my warmest wishes to all Kurds on the occasion of Newroz and the Kurdish New Year,” he said.

“Newroz of Kurds has long symbolised victory, resistance, and the struggle against injustice and oppression. Today, we continue to safeguard our achievements and defend our legitimate rights with a unified national spirit and a shared position, while reaffirming our commitment to the stability of Kurdistan,” he added.

He concluded by wishing the Kurdish people a happy Newroz and praying for the continued protection of Kurdistan.
