PUK President Reaffirms Commitment to National Unity on Newroz

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), extended his congratulations to the Kurdish people on the occasion of Newroz, highlighting the importance of unity and collective action.

President Bafel's message for Newroz said:

“Happy Newroz and Kurdish New Year to all Kurds, which coincides with the uprising of Kirkuk, the Jerusalem of Kurdistan.

For us Kurds, Newroz symbolises peace, brotherhood and unity, inspiring us to work together in the same spirit to safeguard the stability of our beloved country and our people.

On this national occasion, I reaffirm our commitment to national unity, the solidarity of our people, and cooperation among political parties, so that we may work together to safeguard our nation from the challenges currently facing our region.”
