Saadi Ahmed Pire Praises PUKMEDIA’s Role in Kurdish Journalism on Its 23rd Anniversary

Saadi Ahmed Pire, a member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has congratulated the PUKMEDIA website on the 23rd anniversary of its founding, commending its credibility, professionalism, and enduring contribution to Kurdish journalism.
In a message addressed to the Editor-in-Chief and staff of PUKMEDIA, Pire expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all those who have worked on the platform since its establishment, describing its journey as a “bright and golden chapter” in the history of Kurdish media.
He emphasised that over more than two decades, PUKMEDIA has upheld the highest standards of journalistic ethics and professional media practice in the preparation and publication of news, reports, and other media content. “This commitment has enabled the website to earn the trust of readers both within Kurdistan and abroad, establishing it as a reliable and respected source of information,” he said.
Pire also praised the dedication and perseverance of the PUKMEDIA team, acknowledging their continued efforts in delivering accurate and responsible journalism under varying circumstances. He wished the staff ongoing success in their work and extended his congratulations to PUKMEDIA’s readership on the occasion of the outlet’s 23rd anniversary.
The official website of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUKMEDIA, founded in 2003, has played a central role in documenting political, social, and cultural developments in Kurdistan and the wider region, maintaining its position as one of the trusted voices of Kurdish media at home and internationally.
