PUK Political Bureau Organises Major Baghdad Gathering in Support of Its Sole Candidate

A Public Gathering in Baghdad in Support of a PUK Candidate
The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Baghdad held a large public gathering on Friday, 7 November 2025, in support of PUK candidate Dr Ayat Adham, candidate number 89 on the Reconstruction and Development Coalition list (No. 207).
In a statement, the PUK Political Bureau in Baghdad announced that a significant number of Kurdish citizens from the capital attended the event, expressing their full support for the PUK candidate and commending her commitment and dedicated efforts to advancing their causes and legitimate rights.
According to the statement, Dr Bestun Adil, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau in Baghdad, and Hersh Habib, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Iraq, were also in attendance. In their speeches, they highlighted the importance of active participation in the upcoming elections and of supporting candidates who represent the people’s aspirations and strive to promote development and social justice.
The Political Bureau noted that the gathering formed part of its direct engagement with citizens and aimed to further strengthen the PUK’s public presence in Baghdad.
