Qubad Talabani, member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Osman Baydemir, a prominent Kurdish politician from Türkiye.

Qubad Talabani, member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Osman Baydemir, a prominent Kurdish politician from Türkiye, and expressed hope that the peace process will achieve the aspirations of both the Kurdish and Turkish peoples.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Talabani wrote: “I was pleased to meet Mr. Osman Baydemir, a well-known Kurdish politician. We discussed the situation in the region, particularly the recent steps taken in the peace process in Türkiye.”

He added: “I hope that the peace process would proceed successfully to achieve the goals of both the Kurdish and Turkish peoples.”
