Jalal Sheikh Naji, Head of the Kurdistan Parastin u Zanyari / Zanyari Agency, met on Monday, 11 August 2025, with Wahab Halabjay, Director General of the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG), in Qalachwalan, Sulaymaniyah.
The meeting underscored the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between all security agencies in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to preserve stability, security, and peace across the country.
Sheikh Naji commended Halabjay and the CTG forces for their role in safeguarding peace in the Region and combating terrorism. He once again reaffirmed his full support for their success in fulfilling their national duties and responsibilities.
In return, Halabjay expressed his appreciation for Sheikh Naji’s role in fostering cooperation to achieve their security objectives and military operations aimed at protecting the Kurdistan Region.
