Sulaymaniyah Welcomes Growing Number of Tourists During Eid

Tourists visit Sulaymaniyah.
A large number of tourists continue to visit Sulaymaniyah Governorate during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, with all hotels, restaurants, and tourist facilities fully prepared to accommodate them.
Goran Qadir, Spokesperson for the General Directorate of Tourism in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, stated in a press release: “Since yesterday, Tuesday, tourists have been arriving in Sulaymaniyah in significant numbers. Hotels, restaurants, and all tourist facilities have made the necessary arrangements to welcome visitors and provide them with essential services.”
He added: “According to our observations, 70% of hotels in Sulaymaniyah are currently crowded with tourists. Over the past few days, more than 100 tourist groups have visited the governorate, and the numbers continue to rise.”
The tourism spokesperson further noted that “the cost of accommodation per person ranges from 5,000 dinars to $100, depending on the hotel’s quality, the type of tourist facility, and the level of service provided.”
