Iraqi Justice Minister Khalid Shwani.
Iraqi Minister of Justice Dr. Khalid Shawani confirmed that the Kirkuk administration works to serve all communities without discrimination.
The Minister of Justice added in a press statement monitored by PUKMEDIA: "In fact, the new Kirkuk administration is working to strengthen brotherhood and coexistence among all communities.
He added: "The present administration is making a concerted effort to serve all communities without discrimination and has disassociated itself from political divisions. Brotherhood and harmony between various communities and groups are values that we, as the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), hold dear. The collaboration among the governor, the chairman of the provincial council, and other government agencies is impressive."
He continued: "The Kirkuk governor is following and adhering to the program and recommendations of PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani to transform Kirkuk into a model province, work to develop and prosper it, and work diligently to serve citizens. We, in the Iraqi government, will work to address their problems and provide all their needs."
He pointed out that the PUK is working diligently, in cooperation with other political parties, to move Kirkuk from a period of conflict to one of prosperity and services.
