DPM Talabani Discusses Key Issues with Czech Ambassador & French CG

Qubad Talabani emphasises the need to establish an efficient and service-oriented government to address the issues of the budget, salaries, and public services. He urged the Kurdish people in the West to unite in order to secure their rights in the new Syria.

"In two separate meetings with the new Czech Ambassador, Mr. Jan Šnaidauf, and the French Consul General, Yann Braem, we highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to establish an efficient and service-oriented government capable of addressing the key demands of the Kurdish people, such as issues related to the budget, salaries, and public services. Additionally, we stressed the need to uphold political and security stability in the Kurdistan Region during this sensitive and complex phase in the region."

He further said: "Regarding the situation in Syria, we urged the Kurdish people in Western Kurdistan to unite in order to secure and guarantee their rights in the new Syria."
