Federal Migration Ministry Returns 466 IDPs From Erbil to Nineveh

The return of IDPs to their homes
The Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced has relocated 466 IDPs from the Hassan Sham camp in Erbil to their
homes in Nineveh province. Additionally, the ministry will provide each family
with 4 million Iraqi dinars in the form of bank cheques.
In a press statement, the Iraqi Ministry
of Migration and Displaced stated: "The return of the 466 IDPs from Hassan
Sham camp in Erbil to Nineveh province, in collaboration with the Nineveh
Operational Command, is a part of the ministry's plan to resolve the IDPs
issue, with the support of the government's programme."
According to the media office of Iraqi
Minister of Migration Ivan Faiq Jabro, returning families will be
included in financial grants, relief aid, and durable goods to promote
stability in the areas of return. The Minister also stated that the Ministry is
closely following the Iraqi Prime Minister's directives to fully resolve the
country's displacement issue.
