PUK President: Our Primary Focus is Maintaining the Country's Stability

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed Ms. Anu Saarela, Finnish Ambassador to Iraq, at Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.
The most recent political, economic, and security developments were discussed at the meeting, with a focus on how crucial it is for political parties and factions to continue coordinating and communicating with one another in order to address issues and steer the nation toward stability.
President Bafel Jalal Talabani explained the stance of the PUK over the current situation and stated, "Our primary focus is on maintaining the stability of the country and improving the quality of life for our citizens. We are dedicated to resolving conflicts and achieving a resolution that will promote peace and prosperity."
Regarding the Kurdistan Region's electoral process, both parties agreed that conducting timely and fair elections would serve as a source for political stability, advancement, and the establishment of democratic principles in the Kurdistan Region.
