PUK Politburo: Christians are Native Component of Kurdistan

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) extended congratulations to Christians on the occasion of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ Feast and the Akito Feast.
The PUK's Political Bureau's message said:
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all Christian sisters and brothers in Kurdistan, Iraq, and across the globe on the occasion of the Resurrection of the Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) and the feast of Akito.
Christians are a significant and native component of Kurdistan. The PUK prioritises the achievement and guarantee of all political, cultural, religious, and civic rights as part of their democratic struggle. This commitment is rooted in the profound and unambiguous cultural legacy of President Mam Jalal.
