Saadi Ahmed Pire, a member of the Political Bureau and Spokesperson of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), visited the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Russia in the Kurdistan Region on Monday, March 25, 2023. 

The purpose of the visit was to express condolences to the people and government of Federal Russia following the terrorist attack that took place on March 22, 2024 at Crocus City Hall in Moscow. The attack, carried out by several gunmen, resulted in the death of a large number of civilians. Pire conveyed condolences on behalf of PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani and the PUK's Leadership Council.

Comrade Pire stated: "We strongly condemn the terrorist attack and offer our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. We also express our hope for a swift and complete recovery for those who were injured."

"We would like to extend our condolences to the entire people and government of the Russian Federation through the Russian Consulate General," he added.

He then wrote a message in their journal.
