Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, says that children are the future that need to be invested in.
DPM Talabani visited the Iraq National Projects Olympiad (INPO) which is a scientific project competition comprised of ten different categories, aiming to improve the creative ability and scientific thought of students, as well as the thoroughness, skill, and clarity shown in their projects and to help the growing of future scientists. It was held at the University of Sulaymaniyah.
"It was inspiring to explore the INPO exhibition showcasing scientific projects from highschool students at the University of Slemani campus," DPM Talabani said on X platform.
"I'm proud to see such innovative minds and creative talent displayed — children are the future we need to invest in," he added.

Qubad Talabani also visited The Hub, a project launched during the International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum Slemani (IIEFSlemani) which was held in Sulaymaniyah in January. The project is aimed at gathering and assisting young innovators and entrepreneurs to showcase and launch their projects and enter the business world.
"When we launched IIEFslemani, we pledged to transform Slemani into an innovation hub, unlocking opportunities for young people," DPM Talabani said on X platform.
"Today, I visited The Hub as it enters its final stages. This initiative will foster an environment where talented individuals can thrive and gain access to opportunities that nurture their creativity," he added.
