Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Qubad Talabani congratulated David Cameron on his appointment as UK's Foreign Secretary.
DPM Qubad Talabani wrote on X: "Congratulations David Cameron on your appointment as the Foreign Secretary."
"Your extensive experience is of utmost value during this period of global uncertainty. We look forward to collaborating with you once again," he added.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday fired Suella Braverman, one of his most senior and divisive ministers, in a shuffle of his top team that brought one of his predecessors, David Cameron, unexpectedly back into government as the foreign secretary. Sunak has also appointed James Cleverly as UK home secretary.
