Kurdistan Region's Asayish arrests 8 ISIS terrorists

Eight terrorists were captured by the Asayish Agency of the Kurdistan Region in various separate operations.
According to a statement from the Directorate of Asayish Operations of the Kurdistan Region obtained by PUKMEDIA, "accurate information was obtained on several fugitives who were members of the Islamic State (ISIS) and were wanted under Article 4 of terrorism by the National Asayish Agency, the intelligence agency, Counter-Terrorism, and rapid response units of Iraq.
The statement added that the fugitives fled to the Kurdistan Region and settled in Sulaymaniyah province.
According to the statement, a field investigation was conducted, and after several days of investigation, the suspects' whereabouts were finally determined, and they were placed under the supervision of the Asayish forces.
Following confirmation, several operations were carried out in collaboration with the Sulaymaniyah Asayish Directorate, and eventually, the West Sulaymaniyah Asayish Directorate arrested the terrorists, all of whom were Arab nationals, in a separate operation in March.
