President Bafel and McGurk discuss improving relations to protect the highest interests

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) welcomed Brett McGurk, the White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa, and a high-level delegation at the Political Bureau's headquarters in the Kurdistan Region's capital, Erbil.

The meeting covered recent political, economic, and security developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and stressed the importance of coordinating national efforts to find solutions.

In order to safeguard the highest interests, the two sides' relations advancement was discussed throughout the meeting.
