Iraq announces 3,997 new cases of Covid-19, 3 death case

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 3,997 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, raising the total number to 2,421,716 in the country.

The ministry also said that 3 death case was confirmed from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 25,280.

3,119 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,360,420 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 12,003 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 10,946,529 citizens.
