Iraq announces 4,247 new cases of Covid-19, 3 death case

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 4,247 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, raising the total number to 2,417,719 in the country.

The ministry also said that 3 death case was confirmed from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 25,277.

3,473 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,357,301 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 12,252 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 10,938,935 citizens.
