Iraq announces 2,516 new cases of Covid-19, 4 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 2,516 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, raising the total number to 2,402,311 in the country.

The ministry also said that 4 death cases were confirmed from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 25,267.

3,475 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,342,013 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 7,354 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 10,914,165 citizens.
