Qubad Talabani sends his condolences to the family and relatives of Dr. Aziz Gardi

Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, sent his condolences on the death of the writer, translator, and academic Aziz Gardi, who passed away on Monday morning at the age of 74.

The text of the condolence read:

With great sadness and sorrow, we received the news of the departure of the great guide of the Kurdish language and literature, Aziz Gardi.

I extend my deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the late academic Aziz Gardi and everyone who is devoted to the Kurdish language and literature.

He was at the forefront of the great writers and intellectuals of our people, and the impact of his books remains on future generations.

The memory and name of Dr. Aziz Gardi will remain immortal.
