Coffee Shop Play to be shown in National Theater in Baghdad

On Wednesday, Coffee Shop Play will be shown in the National Theater in Baghdad, which raises social and political issues from the Iraqi reality.

The director of the play, Talal Hadi, said that the play is presented by the National Acting Troupe and refers to the great coffee shop in which people live through a complex smuggling story, which takes from the October demonstrations in 2019, and 2020 political themes in an interesting dramatic language.

"The play comes within the episodes of the alternative theater project that I presented since 2003, a summary that grabs the stick from the middle, between popular comedy and sober seriousness," he added.
