Kurdish referee manages first game of AFC qualifiers

On Tuesday, the games of the Asian Futsal Cup (AFC) qualifiers officially began and a Kurdish referee managed the first game of the tournament.
International Kurdish referee Hawkar Salar, who represents Iraq, was nominated by the referees' committee of the Asian Football Federation to oversee the first match of the AFC qualifiers which is held in Malaysia.
Salar managed the match between the two teams of South Korea and Chinese Taipei which ended with a 4-2 point for South Korea.
The AFC is scheduled to take place sometime this year in Kuwait.
