Over 30,000 tourists visit Slemani during the Eid al-Fitr holiday

The General Directorate of Tourism in Slemani announced the number of tourists that visited the Slemani Governorate during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The General Directorate of Tourism said in a statement, "Until the second day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, Slemani received more than 30,000 tourists who went to the tourist places in the city.
The statement added, "90 percent of the tourists from the central and southern governorates of Iraq, and 10 percent from outside the country, noting that the tourists were welcomed at the entrances to the governorate in the best way."
The statement indicated that, "Slemani governorate has 100 tourist areas, all of which are open to tourists, also, 1,500 places in the governorate received work permits in the tourism field."
