Iraq announces 204 new cases of Covid-19, 5 death cases

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 204 new coronavirus cases on Friday, raising the total number to 2,322,938 in the country.

The Ministry also said that 5 people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 25,197.

585 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,291,660 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 5,001 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 10,446,530 citizens.
