Slemani as the literary city of UNESCO participates in International Literature Festival in Dublin

For the second year, the Slemani office of The Literary City of UNESCO will participate in the International Literature Festival in Dublin through the General Library of Slemani. 

Our correspondent said, "The festival will announce the winner's name at the end of May, pointing out that the city of Sulaymaniyah was an official and formally in the Dublin Festival competition, which competed for 79 novels from 91 libraries in 40 countries, including 30 translated novels."

He stressed that the General Library of Slemani participates in the competition this year with the novel "night mail" by the  Lebanese writer Hoda Barakat.

The International Literature Festival Dublin, founded in 1998, is Ireland's premier literary event and gathers the finest writers in the world to debate, provoke, delight and enthral.
