Famous Arab star Kadhim al-Sahir's ex-wife dies, buried in Slemani

The ex-wife of the renowned Arab singer, Kadhim al-Sahir died in Slemani on Friday, Sahir announced in a tweet on Friday evening.
The funeral and burial ceremony of Orouba al-Sahir will take place in the city of Slemani on Saturday, the governor of Slemani announced in a press statement on Saturday.
Mrs. Orouba died in Slemani after suffering health complications following conducting surgery abroad, the governor of Slemani told the press.
She will be buried at the Bakrajo cemetery in Slemani, in the presence of her son, Wissam Kadhim al-Sahir.
Artist Kadhim al-Sahir married his cousin Mrs. Orouba when he was 19 years old and separated from her after only 3 years. They have two sons, Wissam and Omar.
Sahir's official page announced the postponement of the artist's concerts scheduled to take place in the United States and Canada next week.
