International women's day: Peshmerga Minister's Message on 8th of March
Women 09:15 PM - 2022-03-08
On the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day, I congratulate the honorable women of Kurdistan, and warmly congratulate the families, mothers, wives, and honorable sisters of the martyrs and the peshmerga fighters.
I would like to congratulate all the women of the world who have sacrificed alongside men for the freedom and liberation of Kurdistan and humanity.
March 8, International Women's Day, which became the symbol of women's struggle to eliminate gender differences Honoring March 8 is a tribute to more than two centuries of women's struggle to eradicate persecution, which has been imposed on them by the patriarchal system. Women's struggle is not related to March 8, but march 8 has become the symbol of women's struggle against persecution.
At a time when we commemorate March 8 this year, it is a pleasure for us now in all parts of Kurdistan, women alongside men struggled They participated in the identity and rights of the people, and they were a school to encourage and educate the nation to defend the land and freedom and the cause of our people They were all men's backs, holding them, and continuing.
The explanation is that the Ministry of Peshmerga, employees, Peshmerga, and high-level women officers have played an important role in all military and administrative work, and that view is the result of our full belief in the principles of men and women.
So the point is to put aside this difference and through the strong esteem of women and the understanding of the right things and the scope of their freedom from work and invention, and to completely eliminate violence against them in the stages of justice.
In this commemoration, the women's struggle in general and Kurdistan in particular, particularly the women forces within the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan.
We hope that Kurdish women, united, will take steps to achieve all national and human rights, and we hope that with the cooperation of all women and men, modern and progressive organizations, we hope to build an equal and beautiful society.
And we will not forget the fact that the briefest way to achieve our goals is the path of unity, harmony, and equality.
Two years ago, the Peshmerga ministry happily announced the Gender Project for Social Equality and Justice between men and women and increasing the number of women in the future. The project has now taken its place and has had good results.
With all our abilities, we support achieving the goals of social equality
Congratulations, March 8, International Women's Day
Shorsh Ismail
The Minister of Peshmerga of the Kurdistan Regional Government
