Slemani's Heritage Directorate to open department for collecting manuscripts

Slemani's Archaeological and Heritage Directorate will open a department to collect and preserve the manuscripts scattered here and there.

The project is prepared by the Archaeological and Heritage Directorate in collaboration with the German Gerda Henkel Foundation, the Kurdish Heritage Revival Organization, and the University of Berlin International University for Applied Sciences.

The project aims is to collect, repair, and protect original manuscripts from destruction and preserve them academically according to world standards and science under the supervision of experts in this field.
