Council of Representatives session adjourned for half an hour

Monday's session of the Council of Representatives was adjourned for half an hour due to the lack of a quorum.

Representative Bryar Rashid from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) bloc in the parliament told PUKmedia, "The parliament session was postponed for half an hour, due to the lack of a quorum."

On Monday, the Presidency of the Council of Representatives held a meeting with the heads of the parliamentary blocs to discuss the agenda of the session and the distribution of parliamentary committees.

Previously representative Dylan Ghafour from the PUK bloc told PUKmedia that the meeting is going to witness the swearing-in of some deputies, as well as the formation of the permanent parliamentary committees of the Council of Representatives, in addition to a general invitation to discuss the rise in dollar exchange rates in the presence of the Minister of Finance.
