On Sunday, Iraq's Federal Supreme Court announced that the President of the Republic will continue to perform his duties until the election of a new President.

According to a document issued by the Federal Court, it was decided to keep Barham Salih as President of the Republic, until the election of the new President of the Republic of Iraq.
