'The Chairs' Kurdish play presented at Fajr International Theater Festival

Hawar Theater Troupe, which represents Iraq and Kirkuk at the Fajr International Theater Festival in Tehran presented the Kurdish 'The Chairs' play on Tuesday. 

The play is directed by the Kurdish artist Nejad Najm.

Najm told PUKmedia that in the Hawar Theater Troupe presented "The Chairs" play in the presence of the Iraqi ambassador, the Iraqi consul to Iran, the theater director at the Iranian Ministry of Culture, the head of the Fajr International Theater Festival, and large audiences.

He pointed out that the play won the audience's approval, thanking everyone for the efforts they made to support the band.

Fajr International Theater Festival (est. 1983) takes place annually in Iran, featuring local and international theatrical works and performers. Among the participants: el-Warsha (Egypt) and Teatro Potlatch (Italy). Some of the events take place in the Tehran City Theater.

This festival has a competitive form and contains different sections including International performances, local staging, playwriting, radio performances, street theater, theater photography, etc.

Ministry of Culture, Performing Arts Center, ITI, Theater Forum, The House of Iranian Artists, etc. are the main performers of this international theater festival.
