Khal International Festival kicks off in Slemani

On Tuesday, the Khal International Festival kicked off at the Art Palace in the city of Slemani, the capital of culture and arts, in the presence of some religious figures and Quran reciters from Iran, Egypt, and Iraq.

The festival includes religious performances and Quran reading and will last for two days.

Twana Khasraw, director of the Youth Activities Organization, told PUKmedia that the activities of the Khal International Festival for reading and reciting the Quran began with the participation of figures from Iran, Egypt, and the Kurdistan Region, and in the presence of the Islamic preacher Dr. Sheikh Muhammad Ratib al-Nabulsi and some religious figures.

Khasraw pointed out that this festival calls for holding on to the Islamic religion and education.

Sheikh Muhammad Ratib Al-Nabulsi welcomed the festival through PUKmedia and said: "I am happy to attend the festival, which is a message of love and goodness to all people, and an invitation to memorize the Noble Quran and teach its methods and eloquence through reading, recitation and spreading the religious culture."
