Slemani to host French-Kurdish Women's Poetry Symposium

The Slemani's branch of Union of Kurdish Writers, in cooperation with the France's L'Harmattan Foundation, is scheduled to hold a special poetry symposium on Wednesday in both French and Kurdish.
The symposium will be held at 3 pm in the Book Hall, which is located near the old cigarette factory in Slemani, and it introduces the anthology of women’s poems in Kurdistan in the French language.
The poets participating in the symposium are Kazhal Ahmed, Dr. Nazand Begikhani, Rozh Halabjaiy, Awezan Nury, Chnur Namiq, Zhila Hosseini, Zulekha Karim, Rawand Salih Hassan and Bayan Ibrahim.
