Maliki to visit the Kurdistan Region

A delegation from the Coordination Framework is scheduled to visit the Kurdistan region on Tuesday, according to a senior source in the framework.

Hisham al-Rikabi, director of the media office of the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, said in an exclusive statement to PUKmedia that a delegation from the Coordination Framework headed by Nuri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law coalition, will visit the Kurdistan Region in the coming hours.

The Coordination Framework includes the various Shiite political forces except for the Sadrist movement. It was formed after the announcement of the results of the early legislative elections that took place in October, where the Sadrist movement won 73 seats, while the Progress Alliance came in second place with 37 seats, and the State of Law coalition came third with 33 seat.
