Another Asian Karate Championship medal goes to a Kurdish Karate player

On the second day of the 2021 Asian Karate Championship, held in Kazakhstan, a Kurdish Karate player from the Iraqi team won a medal.
Rabar Zahir, the coach of Iraq's Karat team, said in a special statement to PUKmedia that Rawand Ayub is a Kurdish player who won third place in the championship and brought another medal for Iraq.
The 20-year-old Rawand Ayub is of Kurdish nationality from Halabja city and has been a karate player for the Iraqi team for several years and previously participated in Asian and Arab Championships.
This is the second medal for Kurdish players to win for the Iraqi team as the Kurdish Binar Mustafa was also able to take third place in Sunday's competitions.
The 2021 Asian Karate Championships began on Sunday and will continue until Tuesday. The championship is held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
