15 regional, foreign countries participate in Slemani International Book Fair

Slemani International Book Fair, in its third session, opened on Thursday, with the participation of 15 regional and foreign countries.
Dr. Shawqi Omar, Director of Media and Relations at the Slemani International Book Fair, told PUKmedia, that the fair will continue until November 27, and the opening ceremony will be attended by KRG Minister of Culture and Youth, the Governor of Slemani, and the Ministers of Education, and High Education, heads of chambers of commerce.
"The exhibition area is 10,000 square meters and has been fully booked, nearly 200 to 300 local, regional and Arab publishing houses are participating from 15 countries, including Iran, Turkey, Arab and European countries, as well as Kurdish and Iraqi publishing houses," Omar added.
Omar stressed that health measures have been prepared to prevent Coronavirus, as a sterilization tunnel has been installed at the entrance door, masks will be distributed to all visitors, social distancing is maintained, and the committees for combating Coronavirus are also concerned with the matter.
