Iraq-Syria match ends in 1-1 tie

The Iraqi national football team scored a perfect tie with its Syrian counterpart in Asian Football Confederation AFC Qualifiers for World Cup Qatar 2022.
The match, which took place at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in the Qatari capital Doha, ended with a score of 1-1 in the fifth round of the crucial Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Syrian team's captain Omar Al-Soma scored the first goal in the 80th minute of the match, while the Iraqi team equalized the result with a penalty kick scored by Amir Al-Ammari in the 86th minute.
