Kurdish Chess Player competes in Chess World Cup in Russia

Akar Salih, The Kurdish player of the Iraqi Chess Team, on Sunday arrived in the Russian city of Sochi to participate in the Chess World Cup.
The Kurdish player Akar Salih arrived on Sunday evening in Russia, and today, in his first game in the Chess World Cup, Salih will face an American chess player.
Akar Salih has won bronze medals in the UAE, Iran and Libya, and ranked fourth in Qatar in 2011, and he participated in many other chess tournaments.
