People have been collecting things for a long time. Some collect for fun, others collect for investment, and many other reasons and for Khala Rajab, well he collected antique to open his own gallery for people to visit and see history.

An antique is usually an item that is collected or desirable because of its age, beauty, rarity, condition, utility, personal emotional connection, or any other unique features. It is an object that represents a previous era or period in human history. 

 

Khala (Kurdish word for uncle) Rajab, a resident of Sulaymaniyah city, has been spending many years of his life archiving pictures of known figures of Sulaymaniyah, old radios, records, and even Misbahas.

 

The antiques enthusiast Rajab says that he managed to open his gallery entirely on his own without cooperation from anyone.

 

He has been collecting historic pieces his whole life. People visit him to see his gallery every day.
