Sulaymaniyah: Introducing two books to Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid

On Thursday, a ceremony was held at the Khak Hall in the city of Sulaimaniya on two books by the writer and politician Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.

 

In the presence of many political, literary and cultural figures, the book "Political Articles" and "Water Resources in Iraq" were written and signed by Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.

 

At the beginning of the decrees were noted the importance of the books from the academic and university and their role in enriching the Kurdish library.

 

In another aspect of the decrees, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid pointed to the contents of the two books and their academic importance, after which the audience and the author exchanged views on the two books.

 

Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid was born in Sulaimaniyah. He completed his elementary, intermediate and preparatory studies there. He completed his postgraduate studies in Britain and obtained his Ph.D. in hydraulics. He returned to Khoristan and worked in teaching since the beginning of Sulaimaniyah University. Development in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, assumed the post of Minister of Water Resources in the Federal Government from 2003 to 2010.

 

In the political field, he was one of the activists of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement before the establishment of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. After the establishment of the Patriotic Union, he became an active cadre in the party. .
