Coppersmith.. A career that is still alive in Kurdistan

A Coppersmith is one of the ancient careers that is still alive in Sulaymaniyah city of the Kurdistan Region and has many buyers. 


Most Coppersmithes in Sulaymaniyah make plates and cookers, as well as cups. People take their copper belongings to Coppersmithes to renew them in process called 'whitening'.


Sulaymaniyah is a city in Kurdistan Region, North of Iraq. It is located 385 Km north of Iraqi capital Baghdad.
