PUK Co-leader Lahur Sheikh Jangi, in a statement late on Tuesday marked the six anniversary of the liberation of Kobani from ISIS, saluting the bravery, valor and resilience of the Kurds while praising the assistance of the allies that help in the liberation process.

 

"Today, I salute the bravery, valor and resilience of the Kurds who liberated Kobani with the assistance of our partners." Sheikh Jangi said.

 

Together we showed the world ISIS could be defeated and continued to make strides in ensuring an end to their occupation, Sheikh Jangi said, Thanking everyone for their sacrifices.
