Coronavirus: Sulaymaniyah records 16 new cases

Amid the search for the infect individuals with the globally recognized COVID-19 virus, 16 people tested positive for the virus on Wednesday in Sulaymaniyah province, according to a KRG health ministry statement.

 

14 of the infected individuals have had contact with previously infected people, the statement said, adding that the other two were showing the symptoms of the disease. 

 

As of Wednesday night, the total number of coronavirus cases in the Kurdistan Region has reached 523. Of this number, 403 have recovered, 5 have died, 99 are under medical care.
