Erbil records 7 new coronavirus cases

Amid the search for the infect individuals with the globally recognized COVID-19 virus, 7 people tested positive for the virus on Sunday in Erbil, according to a KRG health ministry statement.


The individuals are from Erbil province's Ankawa district, Safeen and Gulan neighbourhoods. 


Three of the confirmed cases had contact with yesterday's confirmed cases in Erbil, the statement said, adding that the rest were showing the viruse's symptoms. 


As of Sunday, the total number of coronavirus cases in the Kurdistan Region has reached 474. Of this number, 386 have recovered, 5 have died, 85 are under medical care.
