Today, Monday, May 18th, is the second anniversary of the death of the struggler, Adel Murad, the Secretary of the Central Council and the founding member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
The late struggler Adel Murad had died on Friday morning, 18/5/2018, in a hospital in the German city of Cologne.
Adel Murad joined the Kurdistan Students Union in the sixties of the last century, after which he became secretary of the union, and he was one of the strugglers and a companion of the nation’s late President Mam Jalal, one of the founders of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and was elected secretary of the Central Council at the third conference of the PUK.
Adel Murad was born on December 11, 1949 in the city of Khanaqin, with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Baghdad.
During his struggle in the ranks of the revolutionaries of the liberation movement of the people of Kurdistan, the late Adel Murad had an honorable position and a prominent role while taking part in party and government positions.
