The Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that there were nine coronavirus new cases in the city of Sulaymaniyah.


The KRG’s Ministry of Health said in a statement: “The test results showed that there were nine new coronavirus cases in the city of Sulaymaniyah for 5 men, 2 women and two young girl and boy.”


“Among the new infected cases, one of them has recently returned from a country abroad, 6 of them are infected from previous coronavirus infected cases, and the two remaining cases have coronavirus symptoms,” the statement added.


“Out of the 9 new infected cases, 8 of them are from Sulaymaniyah city and the other one is from Bazyan district,” the statement explained.
