     Decentralization Project Preparation Committee to visit Erbil and Duhok

The committee for preparing the decentralization project of the Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council, on Sunday, met with the director of the Sulaymaniyah International Airport and the director of the Bashmakh international border crossing.


The head of the Decentralization Project Preparation Committee, Barzan Mohamed, said after the meeting during a press conference that the decentralization project is not for Sulaymaniyah Governorate only, but it is for all governorates.


He added that after preparing the project, the committee will visit the governorates of Erbil and Duhok to see the whole project and after that the project will be submitted to the Council of Ministers and the Kurdistan Parliament.


Muhammad explained that today's meeting with the directors of the Sulaymaniyah airport and the Bashmakh international crossing was to enrich the decentralization project.


Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council has prepared the administrative decentralization project for governorates and districts, as the council thinks would bring clarity to revenue flows in the Kurdistan Region.
